Earthquake Deaths
Revisiting our earthquake data the magnitude of some of the recent earthquakes becomes apparent. The chart below graphs the total recorded deaths from earthquakes with a magnitude 6.5 or greater. Not only is it surprising that the most deadly have occurred since 1976, but Haiti’s death toll is incredible for such a small nation.
